2001:
Shanghai CATA Signal Co., Ltd. was founded. We are committed to the design and development of LED automotive lights. As the earliest company in the field of LED lighting applications in China, we successfully took the lead this same year in developing a full range of LED automotive lamps with a number of functions.
2002:
We began mass production of LED automotive lights, excluding LED head lamps.
2003:
We passed ISO9001 quality system certification requirements.
2005:
Due to our continuous expansion in production capacity, we moved to a new plant.
2006:
We made the switch from manual production to specialized automatic/semi-automatic products.
2007:
In August, we passed ISO/TS16949 quality management certification within the LED automotive lighting industry.
2009:
We were the first to launch LED work lights onto the market based on our own international invention patent. The same year, we were awarded a national invention patent, and the project was rated as a 2009 Shanghai High Tech project. We were also granted access to the support of the Shanghai and National Science and Technology Innovation Fund.
2010:
Our LED work lamps were successfully used in the 2010 Shanghai Expo.
2012:
We successfully invented the LED beacon with an outstanding and special lighting performance based on our own patented technology. The same year, we were awarded another national invention patents, and the project was rated as a 2014 Shanghai High Tech achievement. We were also given access to the support of the Shanghai Municipal Innovation Fund.
2013:
We expanded our workshop and introduced a new, dust-free SMT production line. We also built a new R&D experimental center. Our annual production capacity was significantly increased.
2014:
We obtained ISO 14001 environmental management system certification. By the end of 2014, our 90mm LED headlights (low and high beam) were completed with an independent design and technology. They are E-mark approved, and we beach supplying the LED headlamps to new energy automotive OEM companies.
2015:
We are actively pursuing becoming recognized as a national high tech enterprise.
